INDUSTRIAL INFORMATICS

Industry 4.0 technologies make all business processes, both in production and in the enterprise, more agile and create opportunities for greater customization without high costs. The available technologies offer significant opportunities for various Industry 4.0 sectors such as Manufacturing, Logistics, Smart Cities, Utilities, Healthcare or Intelligent Transportation Systems.

At ETNASIS, we focus on production systems to meet the challenges of cost and energy efficiency, full lifecycle monitoring and traceability control of all production and operational equipment, autonomous decision making, business intelligence capabilities, managing data processing.

The use of technologies such as Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT-ENIT), Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS-SFS), edge computing and context-aware access control, which are within our scope of service, together with wireless networks and mobile computing, will enable new industrial informatics applications in the field of production.

With the help of Hardware and Software components, we will create network topologies within the production site. We are continuously developing our competence on how to use the products required for the latest developments in mobile and wireless technologies in the ever-increasing complex and integrated ecosystem of industrial systems. In Industry 4.0, we focus on data collection, data communication, storage, authentication, scalability, energy efficiency, standardization, interoperability, mobility and visualization.

Potential issues include but are not limited to the following:
  • Recent advances in fog/edge computing at ENIT,
  • Ambient-context awareness in ENIT,
  • Industrial applications of the Internet of Things
  • Solutions for cyber-physical systems enabled for Industry 4.0 applications.
